What we collect, why, where it lives, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Effective 20 October 2026

Step 1: Who is responsible

goshelf is operated by Silivent Technologies LLC, which is responsible for the goshelf website and account data. For the data inside your store — your customers, sales and suppliers — you are in control and we process it on your instructions.

Step 2: What we collect

DataWhy
Account: name, email, password (hashed)To sign you in and send you service email
Store: name, address, country, settingsTo run the store and format receipts and reports
Store records: products, sales, stock, customers, suppliers, expensesThis is your shop’s data. We store it so goshelf can work; we never use it for anything else
Billing: plan, invoices, payment statusTo know what your store is entitled to. Card numbers never reach us — our payment provider holds them
Usage and errors: pages visited, browser, error reportsTo find and fix problems. Error reports contain no sale or customer data
Support messagesTo answer you

Step 3: Where it lives

Your store’s data is held in a PostgreSQL database on secure cloud infrastructure, encrypted at rest and in transit, with daily backups. Each store’s data is isolated at the database level so no store can read another’s.

Step 4: Who else sees it

We use a small number of trusted service providers to run goshelf: our payment provider, which processes payments; and providers for cloud hosting, our database, email delivery and error monitoring. Each receives only what it needs to provide its service, and none may use your data for their own purposes.

We do not sell personal data, show it to advertisers, or share it with anyone else except where the law requires.

Step 5: How long we keep it

For as long as your store is active. When a store becomes read-only, its data stays exportable for 90 days and may be deleted after that. You can ask us to delete a store sooner. Invoices are kept for as long as tax law requires. Backups roll off within 30 days.

Step 6: Your rights

You can see, export, correct or delete your data. Most of this you can do yourself from Settings; for the rest, email support@goshelf.app and we will act within 30 days. If you are in a country with a data-protection authority, you may also complain to it.

Step 7: Cookies

goshelf uses the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to remember settings like which till you were using. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Step 8: Children

goshelf is for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18.

Step 9: Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will email store owners before the change takes effect.

Step 10: Contact
